Console Connect has recently added Rack Centre’s Lagos data centre to its ecosystem. Console Connect users can now log-in to the platform and spin-up dedicated Layer 2 connections into one of Africa’s best-connected cloud and carrier neutral data centres.
Rack Centre operates a Tier III certified constructed facility in Lagos, Nigeria that hosts the Internet Exchange Point of Point, IXPN, and AF-CIX, a regional exchange in Africa.
With over 65 carriers, ISPs and Content Delivery Networks available and metro fibre connection through diverse routes, Rack Centre provides access to all eight subsea cables along Africa’s Atlantic coast.
Rack Centre is also currently building a 12MW IT load, AI hyperscale-ready data centre, which will become one of the first International Finance Corporation (IFC) Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) certified data centre in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
