Console Connect and OneQode have today announced a strategic collaboration to broaden access to OneQode’s low-latency cloud infrastructure in the Asia Pacific.
The collaboration brings together Console Connect’s high-speed, private, automated global network with OneQode’s high performance cloud and latency-optimised network, enhancing access for gaming, real-time and high-performance application providers operating in the region.
The Asia-Pacific region represents more than half of the world’s internet users, half of global gaming revenue, and over a third of the world’s cloud data centers, with continued growth anticipated.
Network performance and latency are crucial for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable cloud experience. In response, OneQode and Console Connect have interconnected their networks in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Los Angeles, improving connectivity by adding a new cloud on-ramp option for gaming, entertainment and enterprise customers.
“We’re excited to work alongside a partner that shares our passion for network performance. Through this collaboration, Console Connect and OneQode can raise the bar for network performance, security and speed in Asia Pacific and meet the needs of the region’s thriving business and gaming organisations,” said Michael Glynn, SVP of Digital Automated Innovation, Console Connect
Matthew Shearing, CEO of OneQode, added, “Our partnership with Console Connect aligns with our mission to deliver the foundation for the next decade of connected experiences. This collaboration enhances access to our respective ecosystems, providing valuable on-ramps for customers operating in the region.”
