Did you know that you can now remotely peer at over 15 Internet Exchanges worldwide using Console Connect?
Console Connect is making it easier for businesses to remotely peer at some of the world’s largest Internet Exchanges – by bringing together your end-to-end connectivity and peering services on a single platform.
And you can now reach more IXs worldwide on-demand using our own high-performance network.
Here’s a rundown of some of our new IX locations so far in 2023:
NYIIX New York & Los Angeles
With more than 200 active member networks connected and over 1Tbps in peak traffic, NYIIX provides vital interconnection points in New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. NYIIX members include in-demand peers with household names including leading tech, telecom, gaming, CDN, cloud, eyeball, and media companies from North America, South America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
The availability of NYIIX Los Angeles on Console Connect marks the first-time businesses can use the platform to peer on the west coast of the US. NYIIX LA serves as a strategic gateway for internet traffic between Asia and the US, helping ISPs, carriers and content providers to exchange IP traffic faster and more cost effectively.
NYIIX New York is also now available on our platform for businesses to establish connections and peer on the east coast. Established in 1996 and founded by Telehouse, the NYIIX NY Peering Exchange is one of the world’s largest neutral internet exchange points. The exchange is located at 7 key locations in the New York Metro area configured with new proprietary network architecture and state-of-the-art, high-capacity routers offering businesses the choice of 10G, 100G, and 400G ports.
Akio Sugeno, Founder of NYIIX & VP of Engineering for TELEHOUSE, says: “Enterprises across the globe are constantly adapting to the new demands of interconnection and internet traffic. We’re proud to join forces with Console Connect to deliver transformative results for their clientele through trusted networking and connectivity solutions on both coasts of the United States with secure, fast connections to Europe and Asia.”
