Console Connect and Arc Solutions are pleased to announce that they have interconnected their respective connectivity platforms to help extend the automated network reach of businesses in the Middle East.
Through an interconnect at the datamena data centre in Dubai, Arc customers can now seamlessly extend the reach of their network to over 650 data centres worldwide using the Console Connect Software Defined Interconnection® platform.
A joint-venture between UAE’s du and Bahrain’s Batelco, Arc is a data centre interconnection network in the Middle East that is designed to simplify connectivity across growing ecosystems in the region. At the same time, Console Connect users can now directly access the Arc platform, providing them with new data centre interconnection opportunities in the Middle East.
By interconnecting the Console Connect and Arc network, Arc customers can easily grow and scale their connectivity on-demand to new markets, as well as directly access a global ecosystem of cloud, SaaS, IX and IoT providers. The platform, which is underpinned by PCCW Global’s high-performance network, is directly integrated with all major public cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud and others.
Through the platform’s MeetingPlace feature, Arc customers are also able to order and provision partner services, such as remote peering, colocation, SaaS and business applications, as well as access a range of home-grown features and solutions from PCCW Global.
The Arc platform allows customers to access business partners spread across the region’s data centres, leveraging a network that has been built to deliver latency hyper-sensitive service types such as financial trading services, real time gaming and live TV broadcast and streaming.
