The annual CAHK awards represent Hong Kong’s communication industries. They provide recognition and reward excellence among members from across the broadcasting, wireline and wireless communications and other ICT business sectors.

The winning submission from PCCW Global for the “Digital Transformation” award highlighted Console Connect, the world’s first platform for Software-Defined Interconnection®. The platform was recognised as a game-changer for business – making the process of connecting to cloud-based, business-critical applications and geographically distributed offices, partners and clients simple, predictable and secure. It enables users with minimal technical ability to quickly spin up virtual private connections, bypass the unpredictable public Internet and directly connect to their cloud applications, partners and business locations. This new level of speed and agility can be achieved via a simple, easy-to-use web portal with a few clicks, or can be integrated directly into enterprise applications via an API.
