Console Connect launches automated AWS Direct Connect service offering in AWS Marketplace

11th September 2024
Console Connect is now available on the AWS Marketplace

Console Connect, a global network-as-a-service (NaaS) platform, announced that its automated Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect service offering is now available on the AWS Marketplace, a digital catalogue with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that makes it easy to find, test, buy and deploy software that runs on AWS.

For AWS customers that are running a hybrid or multi-cloud architecture, Console Connect provides a more agile and secure environment for managing business-critical AWS workloads and sensitive data than using the public Internet. The platform helps AWS customers build, scale and manage their private connections between AWS and other clouds, data centres, enterprise buildings and devices, using private network infrastructure that meets stringent privacy and security requirements. For bandwidth-heavy workloads, Console Connect reduces network costs into and out of AWS and helps AWS customers take greater control of their egress charges.

AWS customers will now have access to a range of solutions by Console Connect within the AWS Marketplace that help move their data securely and seamlessly between edge and cloud. The Console Connect platform provides AWS customers with the ability to streamline the purchase and management of their connections to AWS across North America, with real-time pricing and the option to pay, provision and manage their service through a single portal or integrate their cloud connectivity via API.

“We are really excited to bring our automated AWS Direct Connect service offering to the AWS Marketplace, enabling more AWS customers to access on-demand, flexible and fast edge-to-cloud connectivity. As businesses accelerate their hybrid or multi-cloud journey, Console Connect meets their long-term cloud needs, while also ensuring critical data stays protected,” said Michael Glynn, SVP of Digital Automated Innovation at Console Connect.

Console Connect’s Layer 2, CloudRouter®, Edge Port and Edge SIM services are now generally available in the AWS Marketplace. For more information on Console Connect and its edge-to-cloud solutions, please visit here.
